782The Central Bank of Belize (Central Bank) is pleased to announce that CRIF Information Services Belize Limited, a locally registered subsidiary of CRIF S.P.A. (CRIF), has officially been granted a license to operate as Belize’s first licensed credit bureau. The licensing of CRIF paves the way for the introduction of a comprehensive credit reporting system that will improve credit access, strengthen responsible lending practices, and promote greater financial inclusion.
